Job Duties:
- Understand business requirements of clients;
- Using QA testing principles and methodologies;
Creating test artifacts and validating them against functional requirements and design documents; - Participating in the definition, writing and quality checks of testing strategies and test plans; requirements and supporting the
development of an automated testing framework; - Exposure to Load Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing;
- Continuous Integration;
- Validating the test environment and creating test data necessary for test execution;
- Recording defects found, tracking status of defects, and verifying resolution;
- Conduct manual and automated testing, Design and write scripts using Oracle/SQL Server;
- Use risk driven techniques to develop, maintain and execute automated test suites for applications;
- Knowledge of automated testing Tools like Quality Center, WinRunner, Load Runner, UFT,QTP, Visual Studio Team Suite, Selenium, XML and ETL.
Special Software/Hardware Skills Needed: Yes
Special Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in CS/Bus/Engg/reltd. Plus 12 months of relevant experience in QA/Programmer/reltd. Tools like Quality Center, WinRunner, Load Runner, UFT,QTP, Visual Studio Team Suite, Selenium, XML and ETL. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. May be willing to take up assignments anywhere in US.
